USU Track Meet
USU is hosting the Mark Faldmo Track Invitational all day on Saturday April 16th at the USU Track and field (North of the stadium.

Community/Senior Center Breakfast
Come support the Preston Community Center & enjoy a terrific breakfast with your family and friends – Saturday morning from 8a.m to 10a.m. at the Community/ Senior Center (64 W 1st South) in Preston. Golf Once, Love It Forever
Come learn how to golf for free at the Birch Creek Golf Course in Smithfield (550 E 100 N). There will be course pros at several stations teaching the skills of putting, chipping, driving, and etiquette. Complete all the stations and receive a free bucket of balls on your next visit. We will also have competitions and prizes for the winners. Free hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Come anytime between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.. This event is sponsored by the PRP 3075 Parks & Recreation class.

Fruit Tree Pruning Class
A fruit tree pruning workshop will be held Saturday, April 16th at Zollinger Fruit and Tree Farm. Workshop begins at 10am. Cost: $25. Please call 435.752.7810 for more information.

Mom's Monthly Market And Charity Fundraiser
Mom's Monthly Market and Charity Fundraiser is an event made for everyone to come relax, play, and just have fun...all while helping to raise money for some great causes! It is held on the third Saturday of each month at the Hanbury Manor Clubhouse (251 W. 1600 N., Logan) from 10am-7pm. April 16th's event is helping to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation's Race For The Cure (supporting research and treatment for breast cancer). The Market is a cooperative effort between local vendors that range from regular party vendors (like Scentsy, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, etc) to handcrafters selling everything from fun hair accessories, unique crochet designs, natural soaps, handmade stuffed animals, plus much more who are working hard to get to know their clients and potential customers in a fun, relaxed atmosphere while raising money for their favorite charities. This is done not just through sales, but also through all the fun activities that come with! At 1pm, there is a free cooking class (April is Homemade Chocolate-covered Marshmallows), all day there is a Kid's Corner (just to let the kids have fun while adults relax), Artisans in Action demonstrations, and even free door prizes! Backyard Harvest: Spring starts with seeds
Come learn the art of seed starting and get tips on planting times from USU Extension Horticulture Agent Taun Beddes. Spring Boutique
A Spring Boutique will be held Friday from 10a.m. to 7p.m. and Saturday from 10a.m. to 3p.m. at the Hyrum Senior Center (675 E. Main). Vendors from Cache Valley and Bear River Valley will be there with handcrafted items to sell. Great unique ideas for Easter, Mothers Day and summer. No entrance fee. Princess Party
Cinderella requests your presence for a girls day out! Saturdays at the Museum
The USU Museum of Anthropology is hosting “Topaz: Japanese Internment in America”. The event features three lectures by Jane Beckwith, director of the Topaz museum Saturday at 11a.m., 1p.m. and 3p.m. There will be displays of artifacts and art from prisoners of the internment camp. Patrons can also participate in creating Japanese Lanterns and a “What to Pack” activity. The museum is located on the south end of the historic Old Main building in room 252. CV Civic Ballet "Coppelia"
The Cache Valley Civic Ballet presents “Coppelia” – Friday and Saturday nights at 730p.m. (matinee on Saturday @ 130p.m.)at the Ellen Eccles Theater. Coppelia is the fairy tale love story of a village doll maker that attempts to create a life-size doll with a soul. Sarah Knight Sophomore Viola Recital
Sarah Knight will perform this Saturday, april 16th at 7:30pm in the USU Tippetts Garrery in the Chase Fine Arts Center. Featuring works by J.S. Bach, Handel/Halvorsen and R. Vaughan Williams. This recital is in partial fulfillment of requirements for Bachelor of Music Perfomance. Sarah Knight is a student of Bradley Ottesen. This event is free and open to the public.
