Fundraiser Breakfast
There will be a Fundraiser Breakfast for ConKerr Cancer organization as part of an Eagle Scout project for Stuart Hopkins – Saturday morning from 8 to 11a.m. in the Lee’s Marketplace parking lot. The address is 555 East 14-hundred North in Logan. The cost is $4 for a full bacon or sausage and pancake breakfast. ConKerr cancer helps provide brightly-colored pillowcases for children who are in the hospital with cancer or other prolonged illness. More information can be found at

Charity Yard Sale For Japan
On SATURDAY, APRIL 30, 7:30am-12pm an Logan University 7th stake will be host a community garage sale at LEE'S MARKETPLACE in Logan (600 East 1400 North). All money raised will go toward the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint's humanitarian fund to support the victims of the JAPAN EARTHQUAKE AND TSUNAMI. Cache Community Food Pantry Garage Sale
Cache Community Food Pantry is hosting a garage sale on Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 8am-4 pm! Donated items for the sale may be dropped off anytime in April on the northeast side of the building. Race For The Cure Fundraiser

There are any number of ways that you can help, but above all be blessed yourself! We'll have everything from electronics, clothes, toys, books, handmade cookies, drinks, candies, and so much more! With a yard sale where the entire community gets together, you never know what you are going to find! What is more, every penny is being donated to the Race For The Cure team "Fighting Back For The Rack"! Tell your friends, tell your neighbors, tell your family, or even the stray dog...and COME ON DOWN
! This yard sale is made up from donated items, and organized by the family of Nancy Nelson and Billie Reese: both amazing survivors of breast cancer. We are doing this in honor of these amazing women whom we love, and also in honor of those whom we have also lost, watched suffer but survive, and those who are struggling with this disease now. Second Chance 5K
The “Second Chance 5K Run” will be held Saturday morning at 9a.m. at USU’s Romney Stadium parking lot to raise awareness about the need for Organ Transplants. “Grizz Kids” 5K Fun/ Run Walk on Saturday, April 30th at 9a.m. at Logan High School. Register from 8a.m. to 9a.m. Come support the Logan High Special Ed Department. Mountaineers for Mali Race
The “Mountaineers for Mali” Race (5K Race and 1 mile Run/Walk) will be held Saturday morning at 10a.m. at Mount Logan Middle School (875 N 200 East)in Logan. They are working to raise money to build a school in Lena, Mali (Western Africa). Benefactors have committed to matching dollar-for-dollar to the building of a new school PLUS an additional dollar to Mount Logan Middle School to be used for summer programs, assemblies and student activities. Cost (before Thursday)-$7 for Mount Logan students and staff and $13 dollars for all runners and walkers (Day of Race $12 and $20 dollars). 2nd Annual Healthy Pet, Healthy You Walkathon
Mountain View Veterinary Health Center will be hosting a Health Fair and Walk-A-Thon to help raise money for Four Paws Rescue of Utah. The event will be held on Saturday, April 30th at MVVHC's Providence location, 516 W. Golf Course Road. The walk and health fair will open at 1:00 pm and go until 4:00 pm. Your LEASHED and well behaved pets are welcome! The walk-a-thon registration fee of $10.00 per person will go to Four Paws Rescue of Utah. The walk is open to pets and their owners or people who want to support Four Paws Rescue. You do not have to have a pet to participate, but LEASHED and well behaved pets are welcome on the walk route. There will be informational booths from Science Diet, Home Again, Novartis, behavioral/training, grooming, first aid, wellness, alternative medicines (with acupuncture and chiropractic), equine health and a Super Star Pet demonstration show. Also there will be prizes, raffles, games and plenty of information about how to care for your pet and help them become healthier. Tree Pruning Class
Join Stokes Nature Center and Jim Hubbell of the Master Gardeners for a free Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop – Saturday at 2p.m. at SNC’s property in Nibley (2600 S 100 W). Participants will earn the basics of pruning and practice on a dozen fruit trees (apple, peach, plum and pear). The fruit from these trees will be donated to the Food Pantry.
