Women's Indoor 6-on-6 Volleyball Tournament
Saturday, Apr 09 - All Day. Hey girls! The USU Men's Volleyball is sponsoring a women's indoor tournament (6-on-6) on Friday and Saturday, April 8 and 9. Get your team together and start practicing now to compete against some great teams from all over the Utah/Idaho/Wyoming area! Last semester we had some great teams and we're looking to get even more girls involved this year, so spread the word! Cost = $15 per student with ID, $20 per person for non-students. April 9th at 8am. This permit is currently honored by 32 states in the USA. You DO NOT need to own a firearm to obtain this permit. Home Ownership Workshop
This workshop was developed to educate first time homebuyers about the home purchasing process. This education will help them better understand each step in the process and gain confidence in their home buying decisions. This workshop and housing counseling is offered free of charge. Cache Food Pantry Garage Sale
Cache Community Food Pantry is holding a ‘Garage Sale Event’ – Saturday, April 30th from 8a.m. to 4p.m. @ 359 S Main in Logan. You may drop off items anytime in April (sign will be posted for drop-off area behind pantry, north-east side of cement block bldg). Donation drop-off assistance on Saturdays from 9a.m. to 1p.m. Large items pick-up by appointment also if you’d would like to volunteer (They are needed!) – call Mary (753-1130).

MI Garand Shooting Match
The first annual Loga MI Garand Match will be held at the Logan Cache Valley Public Shooting Range on April 9, at 9am. This is a civilian marksmanship program (CMP) sanctioned match which will qualify participants to purchase a MI Rifle from the CMP (www.odcmp.com). The match fee will be $20 and $10 for juniors. Any iron sighted as issued manually operated, military rifle as well as the MI Garand is eligible to participate. Cowboy Action Shooting Match
The Cache Public Shooting Range and the Cache Valley Vaqueros is hosting a Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS) match on April 9th starting at 9am. Rules of the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) will apply. The cost will be $7 per shooter. The Cache Public Shooting Range is located at 2851 W 200 N, three miles West of Logan on Highway 30 to Tremonton. If you would like to get involved in a CAS Club in the Logan area, this is the place. Campus Run For Cancer 5K
Participate in the Utah State University Spring 5K and fundraise for cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Participants should gather at the USU HPER building at 9:30 am. USU Print Sale
The USU Printmaking Guild is hosting a Print Sale Friday April 8th 10am to 8pm and Saturday April 9th 10am to 4pm. They will be selling hand pulled art prints, t-shirts, bags and more. Location: USU FAV 106. Original art work at great prices!

Roller Hockey
Saturday, Apr 09 - 10:00AM to 12:30PM. Pick-up games of roller hockey hosted by the USU Roller Hockey Club. All skill levels are welcome. We welcome all skill levels to come play roller hockey every Saturday morning at 10 a.m. We require you to have skates and a stick. Shin guards and gloves are suggested, but like all protective equipment, it is not required. Some of us have extras to borrow/buy, but you'll need to ask in advance. We don't allow fighting or checking and we ask that everyone shows some hustle when you're playing. We usually play at Bridger Elementary, but the location is dependent on weather. Nature In The Valley Club
The Cache Valley No Child Left Inside group would like to encourage all Cache Valley residents to spend a little extra time out in nature this year. The Nature Club meets every second Saturday from 10-11am in various outdoor locations for some fun in nature. There is no charge to participate so bring your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. The outings feature a simple theme and focus on free range play, just kids and grownups exploring together! April 9 at the Stewart Nature Park, Theme: Think Spring! Baby Animal Days
The American West Heritage Center presents “Baby Animal Days” – Friday and Saturday from 10a.m. to 5p.m. Northern Utah’s favorite springtime event is here again. Saturdays At The Museum
Navajo: Weaving a Tradition of Strength. USU Museum of Anthropology is showcasing its newest exhibit entitled, "Dine: Weaving a Tradition of Strength." This grand opening event features two special guests: D.Y. Begay, a world-renowned contemporary Navajo weaver and Mike Morgan, a third generation collector of Navajo weavings whose weavings are on display in the exhibit. Guests will experience wool carding, spinning and weaving demonstrations by Ms. Begay. Patrons will also be able to try spinning and weaving themselves and learn about the natural dying process of the wool fibers traditionally employed by the Navajo. The opening will begin at 11:00 am and end at 3:00 pm and is a catered event. Utah Fibromyalgia Association Meeting
The Utah Firbromyalgia Association will hold its monthly education & support group meeting at 11am on Saturday April 9th, in Room 5/6 at the Logan Regional Hospital. This event is free and open to anyone who is interested. This month's topic is foot zone therapy/accupressure. Come listen to a presentation on foot zoning and how it might be helpful for firbromyalgia. There will be several certified therapists in foot zoning who will give a brief foot zone treatment to anyone interested.

Tracie Cole Movie & Dinner Fundraiser
A fundraiser for Tracie Cole, a married mother of 4 who has a rare form of cancer, will be held Saturday April 9th. The Cinefour Theater is having a special showing of “Despicable Me” at 12 noon. All of the proceeds from ticket sales (and half from all concessions) will go to the Cole family in assisting their rising medical bills… the following Saturday(April 16th)- a Dinner and Live Auction will be held at the Elks Lodge in Preston (1129 North 8th East). USU Print Sprint

Matinée Enchantée: Magic and Music at the Mansion
The Hatch Academy of Magic and Music presents "Matinée Enchantée", an enchanted afternoon of magic and music in the historic 1878 Thatcher-Young Mansion on April 9, 2011 at 2 p.m. Deceptionist Richard Hatch and violinist Rosemary Hatch, co-owners of the Hatch Academy, will be joined by their son, pianist Jonathan Hatch in a 75 minute program featuring the music of Béla Bartók, Camille Saint-Saëns, Johann Sebastian Bach and Fritz Kreisler and magic created by Johann Nepomuk Hofzinser, Jean Eugène Robert-Houdin, Dai Vernon and Punx, among others. Junior Cello Recital
