"Mighty Me" Workshops

Interior Design Senior Exhibit

Gallery Talk
Thursday, Apr 21 - 2:30PM to 3:30PM Special Collections and Archives at Utah State University’s Merrill-Cazier Library joins the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning to present a unique exhibit based on a collection now held at the library — the Design Workshop Landscape Architecture Archive and Digital Collection. A gallery talk, featuring Michael Timmons from LAEP, Brad Cole from Special Collections and Archives, and Cheryl Walters from the Digital Initiatives Department, along with members of the exhibition team, will be held at 2:30 p.m. April 21st in the library atrium. Medical Unity Club!
Thursday, Apr 21 - 4:30PM to 5:20PM Medical Unity is a club that teaches Spanish medical terminology. This month we have guest speakers like Dr. Anderson and Dr. Barrett. We give lessons on how to be an efficient patient-doctor translator with real-life experience in these situations. We visit the cadaver lab. Kiger Hour featuring David Lancy
Thursday, Apr 21 - 5:15PM to 7:00PM Join us for an hour of good food, good company, intellectual engagement and a TimePiece by David Lancy: "Talking Trash or Taking Out the Trash: Chores in Children's Development." It will be held at Hamilton’s Steak and Seafood in the new event room Accolade. The social hour begins at 5:15 p.m. and the TimePiece will begin at 6 p.m. David Lancy, the 2001 Carnegie Professor and 2011 D. Wynn Thorne awardee, has taught anthropology at USU for 18+ years. He has authored eight books, notably "The Anthropology of Childhood: Cherubs, Chattel, Changelings." Lancy's research focuses on the role of culture and biology in the transformation of helpless babies into competent adults. USU Big Band Swing Club Dances
