Joy of Depression Workshop
Tuesday, Apr 12 - 11:00AM to 12:30PM Joy of Depression Workshop – One in three adults deal with major depression at some point during their life. Emotions are critical signals moving us to action. This five-session workshop is designed to understand both the biology and the psychology of depression in order to distinguish normal sadness from clinical depression. Participants will engage in self-assessment, discussion and review of video clips. Specific strategies in regulating and understanding the joy of depression will be discussed. You will receive the most benefit if you come to all five sessions, however you are welcome to sign-up for the session(s) that most interests you. Give Back To The Community Night
Mountain Crest High School’s Marching Band has been invited and has accepted to opportunity to represent the state of Utah at the Fourth of July Independence Parade in Washington, D.C. Chili’s of Logan is having a ‘Give Back to the Community Night’- Monday & Tuesday from 3p.m. to 1030p.m. On these two nights 15 % of their profits after 3p.m. will be donated to help these students with travel expenses for their instruments and themselves. Just tell your waiter you are there for the Mountain Crest Marching Band.
