Mom or Dad & Me Ice Skating Sessions
Mom or Dad & Me sessions are held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Eccles Ice Center, 2825 N. 200 East. USU Meditation Club- weekly group sit
Wednesday, Apr 27 - 1:30PM to 2:30PM Come join us! Our meetings usually start with a couple minutes of introductions and news, and then we do a 30-minute meditation (either guided or silent, whichever people want). We then conclude with discussion about specific problems or questions people have about meditation and mindfulness. We are lucky to have two experienced meditation instructors as our faculty advisers- any and all questions you have about meditation/mindfulness/etc. will be welcome. This group is not aligned to any specific type of meditation lineage or religious affiliation; all are welcome to attend, as are all levels of experience. Speaker: Ghislaine Vinas, New York City based Interior Designer
Wednesday, Apr 27 - 4:00PM to 5:30PM Ghislaine Vinas' work has been published in "Interior Design Magazine," "New York Magazine," "Departures," "Elements of Living," "Frame" and "O At Home" and many other international magazines. In 2007 she won the Interior Design Best Of Year Merit Award for Best Residential Design. In the same year, she also won the Pantone "Color Outside the Lines" competition for color use for residential interiors. Ghislaine Viñas established her interior design studio in 1999. She has successfully completed many projects, both commercial and residential, ranging from New York City projects that include a townhouse in Greenwich Village, lofts in Tribeca and an art gallery in Chelsea, to offices and homes in Los Angeles, New Jersey, Holland, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
