Mom or Dad & Me Ice Skating Session
Mom or Dad & Me sessions are held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Eccles Ice Center, 2825 N. 200 East. Free Online Training: iPad Accessibility Communication Apps
The Utah Assistive Technology Program (UATP) will present a FREE online interactive training on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. Scott Baggaley, from The Computer Center for Citizens with Disabilities, will present: iPad Accessibility Communication Apps. This FREE training by Scott Baggaley will explore using Proloquo2go, its different features and updates for using an iPad as a communication option. He will also look at different communication app options that are not as famous as the Proloquo2go. This will include text based communication options for literate users, a scanning option for those who need this as well as sequenced messages. In order to participate, you will need a computer with high-speed internet access. Nature Night: Campfire Stories
SNC welcomes Daniel Bishop, the Storyteller. Stories for kids will start at 6pm, and stories for an older audience will follow at 7:30pm.
