KA-POW! GRAPHIC NOVEL EXHIBITION
The Merrill-Cazier Library is presenting Ka-pow! Graphic Novels, an exhibition on graphic novels used in academia. It will be shown in the atrium of the Merrill-Cazier Library from Oct. 24 through Dec. 10. A formal opening reception is Thursday, Nov. 10, at 4 p.m. in room 101 of the Library where several USU professors will discuss the use of graphic novels in their current classroom curriculum. HALLOWEEN CANDY BUY BACK
Dr Keith Hammond and Dr Celeste Mortenson want to send some sweets to our troops in gratitude for protecting our freedoms. We are hosting a “Halloween Candy Buy Back”. So, all you Trick or Treaters bring your candy to our office at 290 N 200 East in Logan on Tuesday, Nov 1st and Wed, Nov 2nd, and we will give you one dollar per pound for your candy. Then the care packages, full of treats, will be sent to our troops overseas.

USU ANNUAL GRADUATE EXHIBIT

MOM OR DAD & ME ICE SKATING
Mom or Dad & Me sessions are held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Eccles Ice Center. Location: 2825 N. 200 East. USU MEDITATION CLUB
All levels of meditation experience are welcome for our weekly sit. There will be instruction provided for those who desire it, and we typically sit for 30 minutes. DR. TEMPLE GRANDIN LECTURE ON AUSTISM
World-renowned animal psychologist Dr Temple Grandin will speak at USU on November 2nd in the TSC ballroom. The event is free and open to the public. Dr. Grandin has been named one of the world’s 100 most influential people by Time Magazine. She will speak at 430p.m. about her life with autism and at 6p.m. about animal welfare. Between lectures, Dr Grandin will sign copies of her newest book, “The Way I See It: A Personal Look at Autism and Asperger’s”. For more information: (797-0305). Where: The TSC Ballroom, USU Campus. FAMILY NIGHT AT CHICK-FIL-A OF LOGAN

PAIN MANAGEMENT SUPPORT GROUP
Pain Management Support Group (Soakers Club) meets every Wednesday night at 715p.m. and Sundays at 2p.m. in the parking lot of Square One Printing (630 W 200 North, Logan) to car pool over to Crystal Hot Springs for a few hours of soaking in the warm mineral pools.
