KA-POW! GRAPHIC NOVEL EXHIBITION
The Merrill-Cazier Library is presenting Ka-pow! Graphic Novels, an exhibition on graphic novels used in academia. It will be shown in the atrium of the Merrill-Cazier Library from Oct. 24 through Dec. 10. A formal opening reception is Thursday, Nov. 10, at 4 p.m. in room 101 of the Library where several USU professors will discuss the use of graphic novels in their current classroom curriculum. STARTING SMALL ART EXHIBIT
Collected by old and new, 'Starting Small' showcases USU student collections curated by current students. The exhibit illustrates the diversity of art and its collection through the eyes of independent students. Four Utah State students, Trissta Lyman, Megan Mitchell, Brady Mathews and Megan Evans, are curating the exhibit and gathering artwork from other student’s private collections. An opening reception will be held Nov. 11 from 5-7 p.m. in the Tippetts Exhibit Hall. The exhibit runs Nov. 7 - Dec. 1 from 9am to 5pm. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

SPRING CREEK MIDDLE SCHOOL VETERANS PROGRAM

MARION HYDE EXHIBITION
Stop by and view the Marion Hyde Exhibit in the Tippetts Exhibit Hall, Chase Fine Arts Center, on the USU Campus. Exhibit runs from 11/05/2011 to 12/01/2011 open 10am to 5pm. Cost: Free!

USU UNDERGRAD ART EXHIBIT
The Caine College of the Arts at Utah State University Presents their Undergraduate Art Exhibition. The show includes student work in painting, sculpting, drawing, photo, printmaking, and ceramics. The show runs from Nov. 7 – Dec. 2nd from 10am to 5pm, in the USU FAV Gallery 102, and is open and free to the public. A reception will be held at the gallery, Nov. 18th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. where awards will be given. Come meet the artists, enjoy refreshment, and enjoy a spectacular exhibition of talent.

MIGHTY ME WORKSHOP

LIFE SIZE ANGRY BIRDS OBSTACLE COURSE
Want to show your Angry Birds skills? Come to the 2nd Aggie Event Series "The Angry Birds Obstacle Course" Nov. 10 starting at 4 p.m. Use a water balloon launcher and plush Angry Birds to knock down cardboard boxes as you proceed through each level. ACTORS FROM THE LONDON STAGE PRESENTS: THE TEMPEST
Witness the magic unfold as the self-directed ensemble of five professional British actors of Actors from the London Stage present William Shakespeare’s 'The Tempest.' Set on a remote island, 'The Tempest,' believed by many to be Shakespeare’s final solo work, tells the story of Prospero, the exiled Duke of Milan, who plots to restore his daughter Miranda to her rightful place by using illusion and skillful manipulation. 'The Tempest' is a comedy with an atmosphere resembling that of a fairy tale. It is generally considered to be one of Shakespeare's most mature and most admired plays. LEARN TO ROLL YOUR KAYAK
Kayak Roll Session 7:30pm- 9:30pm HYPER Pool Cost: $5/$8/$10. Starting in October our roll sessions will be held on Thursdays. Come practice your whitewater kayak roll in the HPER pool. Can't roll? DANCE UNITED CLUB
Each month the club focuses on teaching a different dance. October is Big Band Swing Dancing. November the club is looking at doing something like ballroom style, samba, or salsa. If you are interested in becoming a member, membership is $10 which includes a free t-shirt and admittance to all the membership parties. Lessons start at 8pm. TRUE AGGIE NIGHT
Whenever the full moon arrives, so does Student Alumni and True Aggie Night! Be at the 'A' just before midnight. Wear your SAA shirt and get a "fast pass" to the front of the line.
