Free Cafe Rio - Tuesday December 6th

If you are in the Logan, UT area tomorrow and love Cafe Rio, pay attention.

Tomorrow is the Logan Cafe Rio's Grand Re-Opening open house/Logan City Schools Fundraiser. They are now going to be open 7 days a week. From 10:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m., all meals will be free and customers will be encouraged to donate the money they would have spent on their meal to a local public school of their choice. The entirety of the proceeds from the free meal day will be given to these schools. Five schools from Logan School District have agreed to participate and compete for donations. They are: Adams Elementary School, Hillcrest Elementary School, Mt. Logan Middle School, Wilson Elementary School and Woodruff Elementary School.

In addition to the money earned from donations, Cafe Río has generously agreed to offer a challenge grant of up to $3,000 to the winning school. All participating schools will be able to keep the money donated in their name, regardless of whether or not they win the challenge grant.

Please come out to support your local schools and enjoy a delicious lunch at Cafe Rio!

This is not a hoax. I called the Logan store this morning to confirm and they said that all menu items will be free tomorrow during normal business hours on a first come, first served basis.

Keep in mind that since Noodles & Company is officially opening this week as well that there will be long lines and limited parking. For more information about Cafe Rio visit their website.
