PARADE OF GINGERBREAD HOMES
The 12th Annual Historic Downtown Logan "Parade of Gingerbread Homes" is a contest that displays gingerbread house entries at downtown businesses from December 2nd through December 30th. The public is invited to vote for their favorite Gingerbread House beginning December 2nd through December 16th. Each entry will have a chance to win one of three $100 Grand Prizes for the "Best of Show." The gingerbread homes will be on display at Anderson's Seed and Garden, The Beehive Grill, The Book Table, Center Street Salon, Coppin's Hallmark, The Diamond Gallery, Indian Oven, Life Style Homes, Peewee's Sweets, SE Needham, The Sportsman, Stork Landing, and U&I Furniture. FEEDING ON FLOWERS AND FIREWORKS EXHIBIT
New work by Michelle Montrose Larsen on display at Logan Arthouse and Cinema. When: December 1 to January 1.

WINTER STEAM FESTIVAL
The Golden Spike National Historic Site in Box Elder County is holding its annual Winter Steam Festival on Wed, Thursday and Friday. Steam Locomotive No 119 is scheduled to arrive at the Last Spike site at approximately 10a.m. and it will be on display until 430p.m. each day. There will also be special steam demonstrations at 1p.m. & 3p.m. The No. 119 is a fully-operational replica of the Union Pacific’s No. 119 which was present for the Golden Spike Ceremony on May 10, 1869. In addition to the steam demonstrations, various railroad-related videos will be shown in the front auditorium. The site is located 32 miles west of Brigham City. MIGHTY ME WORKSHOP
Sunshine Terrace Wellness Center and BRAG are offering “Mighty Me” workshops on brain health from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursdays at SST Wellness Center, 209 W. 300 North. Classes are free of charge. Call Allison at 713-1468 or the Wellness Center at 752-9321 with any questions.

BIG BAND SWING CLUB
Thursdays 7:00PM to 10:00PM Come learn Big Band Swing Dancing! Swing Dancing is an original American art form, and a fun way to exercise and meet people. THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS
The Magic of Christmas is described as a "fun filled magic show" packed with jaw dropping magic, illusions and hilarious comedy. The show will star Kent Messmer, a master illusionist, who will thrill the audience while bringing the sights and sounds of the holidays to the community in an event organizers say is good for the whole family. Tickets will be available at the door for a donation. A portion of the proceeds from this year's fundraiser will help support the "Shop with a Cop" program, which allows local members in uniform to take some of the disadvantaged and high risk children living in Cache County shopping for gifts for themselves and their siblings to put under their Christmas tree. LOGAN UNPLUGGED

DANCE UNITED CLUB
Each month the club focuses on teaching a different dance. October is Big Band Swing Dancing. November the club is looking at doing something like ballroom style, samba, or salsa. If you are interested in becoming a member, membership is $10 which includes a free t-shirt and admittance to all the membership parties. Lessons start at 8pm.
