CGOA SKI DAY

POSTER EXHIBIT: DISABILITY HISTORY
The exhibit includes panels that outline the history of disability and advocacy. This walk through 3000 years of the human condition is remarkably detailed. It’s sometimes shocking, sometimes poignant, and always informative. Location: Merrill-Cazier Library, Room: 034 (Special Collections area in the basement level). Open To: Public. BACKCOUNTRY 101: WOMEN'S ONLY AVALANCHE CLASS
The Friends of the Utah Avalanche Center in Logan will be holding a women's only avalanche class on January 12th and 14th. Come and learn about avalanche awareness and what our snowpack is up to this season all in the company of other women. Bring some friends! Please call 757-2794 for more info. SNC SNOWSHOE SATURDAY
Come snowshoe with Stokes Nature Center in Logan Canyon and explore the stories of wildlife in winter. Although many mammals are hibernating and most birds have flown south, winter is a wonderful time to see the signs of wildlife and understand their daily survival in the cold. Led by Utah Master Naturalist Mark Larese-Cassanova. Cocoa, treats, and snowshoes provided. BACK-COUNTRY HORSEMEN ANNUAL DINNER & AUCTION
Bridgerland Back-Country Horsemen present their 2012 annual “Winter Social Dinner & Auction” – Saturday night at Canyon Elementary School (270 S 1300 East) in Hyrum. Doors open and entertainment begins at 5:30p.m./ Dinner at 6p.m. Featuring: Roast Beef (w/ all the trimmings) and entertainment by Saddle Serenade.
