CCA BUSKERS
Traveling campus performers entertain university audiences with musical magic. The CCA Buskers are part of Arts Week 2012. Location: Utah State University Campus. USU STUDENT ART SALE
USU Art students will again be offering some of their best work for sale to the campus community during Arts Week 2012. There will be lots of variety as students from many disciplines display affordable art for just three days in the TSC. Location: TSC, Evan N. Stevenson Ballroom. CGOA CROSS COUNTRY SKI DAY
Join Common Ground Outdoor Adventure and enjoy the beautiful winter wonderland in Cache Valley. This activity will be up at Beaver Mountain with time during the day for snowshoeing or cross country skiing and time in the lodge with games. Cost is $3. When: Wednesday, January 18th at 7:30am. POSTER EXHIBIT: DISABILITY HISTORY
The exhibit includes panels that outline the history of disability and advocacy. This walk through 3000 years of the human condition is remarkably detailed. It’s sometimes shocking, sometimes poignant, and always informative. Location: Merrill-Cazier Library, Room: 034 (Special Collections area in the basement level). Open To: Public. MARION J. HYDE EXHIBIT
This exhibition will highlight the most recent work of Utah State’s emeritus professor of art, Marion R. Hyde. Professor Hyde retired from the Department of Art in 2002 after more than 33 years of dedicated service that included 12 years as department head. Since retirement, Professor Hyde has been working in oil and pastel to create images that both represent and abstract the Utah landscape. We're pleased to present a wide selection of his best works to you during this opening exhibition of the 2012 season. An opening social will be held Jan. 18 at 4:30 p.m. in the Tippets Exhibit Hall. MOM OR DAD & ME ICE SKATING
Mom or Dad & Me sessions are held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Eccles Ice Center. Location: 2825 N. 200 East. You are invited to listen to a talk by USU alumnus Ronald J. Dunford on Jan. 18. Mr. Dunford, president and chief operating officer of Schreiber Foods, will speak with students from across disciplines to share his formula for success in his presentation "Steps to Building a Successful Career." PAIN MANAGEMENT SUPPORT GROUP
Pain Management Support Group (Soakers Club) meets every Wednesday night at 715p.m. and Sundays at 2p.m. in the parking lot of Square One Printing (630 W 200 North, Logan) to car pool over to Crystal Hot Springs for a few hours of soaking in the warm mineral pools.
