Cache Valley Restaurant News - The Fall 2014 Edition

For those keeping track, Logan is losing three eating establishments this season.  Two are national chains and the other is a home grown staple of the restaurant scene.  Quizno's has announced their closure and the building is currently for lease.  Pita Pit, by Lee's Marketplace in North Logan, will be closing for good on November 8th.  The Copper Mill Restaurant has been open for 28 years and they are currently hosting an anniversary celebration between now and November 15th, but sadly they are closing at the end of the year.  There had been some rumors that they were moving into the old Hamilton/Montez Brothers building in North Logan, but this is the official word straight from the restaurant:
"I am sad to report that We will be closing our doors on Dec 31st. We will still be holding a full Christmas schedule for banquets and parties... and this year, we will be hosting our first ever Thanksgiving Feast! There is more info about that on our FB page and website. We also have a great 28th Anniversary special going on TONIGHT and through Nov. 15th!  Join us as much as you can before we are gone forever! Thank YOU very much for your patronage and support through out the years you have been coming to visit us here at Copper Mill. We appreciate it a lot!"
There are a lot of other rumors circulating about possible restaurant closures and openings, but nothing has been confirmed yet.  When I hear something concrete I will post it here.

The owners of Elements & Copper Mill are currently working on opening a new restaurant in the former Hamilton's/Montez Bros. building, but it won't be the CM it will be a new concept.
