CACHE VALLEY RESTAURANT LIST

This WAS the most up to date and complete list of restaurants available for the Logan/Cache County area UNTIL 2014.  I have not updated this list in over 2 years and no longer maintain a current list of local restaurants, but this list is a good place to start.  There have been quite a few restaurants that have come and gone in the last 2 years.

I love our local restaurants and encourage you to try any and all new restaurants on the list that you haven't been to before. I will try to keep it as up to date as possible. We have an amazingly large selection to choose from, you could eat at a different restaurant every week for a year and not eat at the same place twice.

Restaurants marked with an asterisk* fall into multiple categories.  Local restaurants or chains unique to Utah are in BOLD GREEN.

If you see a restaurant that has gone out of business please let me know.   Also if you don't see your favorite Cache Valley eatery let me know and I'll add it.

PS - It seems like a lot of locals I know have been having food/restaurant nostalgia lately.  Whether it was car hops on roller skates at the Spudnut, ice cream and cheese samples at the old Cache Valley Cheese shop, everyone seems to be reminiscing about past Logan restaurants.  If you have a favorite you want to remember post a comment.

Just for starters...Rocky's, Zanavoo, Juniper Inn (the one in Hyde Park), the Vietnamese restaurant behind El Toro, Lofthouse Cafe, New Grandview Cafe, Glauser's, Cabin Fever, Premium, Frontier Pies, The Royal Bakery, Eddie's, The Blue Goose, and Regal Burger.

I think Jack's Pizza is closed down. I saw an add on KSL a while back that it was up for a quick sale and it appears to have closed its doors.

Looking back I have good memories of eating at The Beanery over on the west side of Cache Valley next to the railroad tracks.

Jack's did close down but it was sold to new owners who re-opened it in July. They kept most of the original menu, but trimmed it down a bit, I was just there on Friday (8/22/14) and everything was just as good as when Jack owned it. I'm so happy it is open again and still serving up great food.

The Beanery, good heavens you are a local! Very few people that I know remember that place.

Savannah's BBQ is now closed, which is too bad. Their BBQ was okay but their fries and cornbread were amazing!

I would love to hear from people who have eaten or had club luncheons or banquets at the New Grandview Cafe. My father used to own this restaurant, and I am working on something about it for Utah Historical Society. Thanks much! I barely just read this so am a little late.

My family ate out very little when I was a child, but we did on occasion enjoy a family style meal at The New Grand View. Since I was young, I don't have a lot of distinct memories, but I do recall our meals there.
I also recall eating at the Beanery.
How about the Tally Ho Cafe? Anyone remember that? Had my 8th birthday dinner there with my parents. Seems there were little jukeboxes on the tables, but I could be wrong. I was only 8, after all.

You're missing La Fuente Cafe in Providence.
